Before you launch a drop What happens to your art, your contract and your money — in the order it happens.
You pick the chain first. A drop lives on one network forever — that's where its collection is deployed, and where it mints and trades. Choose it before anything else; you can't move it later.
Your art goes to IPFS first. Before anything hits the chain, your images are pinned, then each token gets its own metadata file pointing at them. Nothing points at a hup.social link, so nothing breaks if we do. On LUKSO we also fingerprint each image, so a swapped one would show.
The collection is yours. Each drop deploys a fresh contract with you as its owner from the first block. There are no upgrade keys — nobody can change it later, us included. We mint through it; we can't touch what's minted, your settings, or your money.
You're paid as it mints. Your share lands in your wallet in the same transaction. Nothing held, nothing to claim later.
What you can't change afterwards: name, ticker, supply, collection type, burnable, referral share. What you can: artwork, description, links, royalties, where the money goes.
Phases are how you do a presale. Each one has its own price, window, per-wallet limit and who's allowed in — an allowlist, your followers, holders of a token or NFT, a community.
A phase is fixed once it's live, but you can add more (up to 8) and pause any of them. So changing your price means adding a new phase and pausing the old one.
⚠️** Overlapping phases are all open at once.** Minters pick which one they mint from, so anyone eligible for two will take the cheaper. A presale left running past your public sale keeps selling at the presale price. Give them separate windows.
Cost: creating a drop is free today — you just pay gas. The network step shows what each chain charges before you commit to one.
Reveals: launch with placeholder art, upload the real thing from Manage when you're ready. Just remember anything pinned is public the moment it's pinned, so pin the real art at reveal, not before.
